Born on July 4th, 1882, Keith Kitchen claims he will live forever, mainly because “only the good die young’.
There have been numerous unsubstantiated claims of Keith Kitchen sightings over the years, including The Battle of The Marne, The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre and the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, but those who claim he was present in Dallas on the day President Kennedy was assassinated are in error as he was out of the country at the time.
Though there was photographic evidence at one time of Keith with Elvis, hanging out at Woodstock and holding a camera at the last appearance of The Beatles on the rooftop of Apple Records in 1969, these photographs have suspiciously disappeared and can no longer be found.
Also, rumors that he was with Hank Williams at the Grand Ole Opry in 1951 and an original cast member of “Hee Haw” are false with not a shred of truth in them.
These days, Keith Kitchen sightings are rare, but he can be heard Monday through Friday from 7:00pm – Midnight on Classic Hits 93.3 WBZD and from 2:00PM – 7:00PM on Country 105 WILQ. Keith, a native of South Williamsport and long-time resident of Montgomery, is proud to be a part of Backyard Broadcasting serving the Susquehanna Valley. Keith has been in and out of local radio for over 30 years now and is very happy to be spending evenings on 93.3 WBZD Classic Hits and afternoons on Country 105 WILQ.
Keith has been married to his wife, Jeanette, for over 25 years and has three great children plus three dogs, a cat and a pair of fish.
Keith loves heading out on live remote broadcasts and looks forward to meeting you at the next WILQ or 93.3 WBZD Classic Hits remote broadcast.
