Alanis Morissette is getting into the holiday spirit with her first Christmas album, Good Weather for Immaculate Conception, set for release on November 6, 2026.
The 14-track project brings together traditional Christmas favorites, holiday covers, and two original songs. The announcement also introduces a new recording of Beautiful Star of Bethlehem, featuring Brandi Carlile and Steve Martin.
The album includes contributions from several familiar names, including Martin Short, Amythyst Kiah, and Joy Oladokun. Their appearances add a collaborative element to a project that explores seasonal music through Morissette’s distinctive vocal style.
While this marks her first full-length holiday collection, Morissette has previously shared individual Christmas recordings. The new release brings that interest together in a complete album for the holiday season.
Known for songs such as You Oughta Know, Ironic, and Hand in My Pocket, Morissette has built a career spanning more than three decades.
Good Weather for Immaculate Conception adds a seasonal chapter to her discography, combining familiar holiday material with original compositions and guest performances.
